here is my early fins mock

1st-dwayne jarrett-wr-we need a playmaker bad and jarrett can free up 3mill by releasing/trading booker

2nd-lawrence timmons-olb-this guy is a monster 6'3 235 pounds and can fly trust me he has star written all over him, crowder, zach, timmons ohh yeah

3rd-doug free-OT- at 6'7 305 he is very athletic and could turn into a steal

4th-lorenzo booker-rb- booker is a game breaker and could spell brown and be a great st player, if ricky comes back we dont need him but i think he's gone via trade but you really cant count on ricky.

6th-jordan palmer-project qb bottom line

7th-samson satele-ot/og-hawaii- is a monster and will need time to develope but thats what 7th round picks are for and i like the name samson lol

Tampa isn't drafting a QB; they just signed Simms to an extension.

We aren't drafting a wide receiver. We've got three of them in the middle of their contracts, including one rookie. Welker is an RFA, but unless our new HC wisens up and moves Chambers to the slot, he'll be back, giving us four receivers, plus Vick.

i like most of it but i dont think TB will pass on c . johnson , and i dont think minny will use a first on qb since they just drafted a high qb last year. a side from that i like it.
i think if det doesnt draft a qb, then we may have the 2nd qb taken. no one 3-9 needs qb, but quinn may be to tempting for one of them

omg have you watched simms play? he is horriable and they dont think the backup can do it, trust me gruden will not pass up one of the top 3 qb's just becasue they signed simms

Why would we get rid of Booker? He was our best reciever. That will be whatever coaching personel that gets in here's [grammer sounds OK to me, but looks bad written:confused: ] decision. Me, I like having the guy around; he dropped way fewer balls than 84.
Interesting mock. Can we pass on Branch if avail?

did you watch our wr's this year? i seen every play and welker is about the only one that was worth a damn, we have nop playmakers besides brown

booker is ok but is he worth 3.2 mill next year? we need a stud wr and we dont have one trust me booker and cc are average

no way brohm will be there at 9 and neither will russell and we will not draft another saftey, ginn is not bad though

Er... yes, he will. Tampa Bay also drafted a QB last year; he started plenty of games this season after Simms was injured.

Tampa Bay is not drafting a QB. They'll go offensive line, wide receiver, or defense. Probably offensive line.

I did. Chambers was largely ineffective, thanks to a short passing game. Booker did well. Welker did fine, but Chambers is better than him out of the slot, as both Chan Bailey and the last 6 games of 2005 proved. Hagan began getting over his rookie jitters near the end of the season, and he's still the Pac-10's all-time leading receiver.

We don't need a WR, at least not with our first round pick--and not if Welker is staying. If he's gone, then we can grab a WR in later rounds, or we can utilize Vick as the #4 receiver and spend that draft pick on a position of actual need.

I'm hoping we can somehow pull off a trade to move up and grab Joe Thomas. Barring that, a defensive player would work.

Welker is an average 3rd receiver. He's not worth that much, he's easily replaceable. He's not a good kick returner... He's a good punt returner and and average receiver. If you think Chambers and Booker aren't worth anything, you're nuts. Chambers is a playmaker, look at last season, he made plays. He made some plays this season too, some were brought back by penalties... Booker can handle his share of the duties as well. We just plain and simple need a good QB, is Culpepper the answer? He might be, he might not be. I watched most of the games and saying that Welker is a clear cut above everyone, is clearly irrational thinking.
