Noodle arm nickname misplaced

I remember reading that Tua threw the football at 88 miles per hour, which matched Tom Brady among others. I think Josh Allen was at 102, or something insane like that.

The point is, Tua’s arm is strong enough. It's more about accuracy, and ball placement, than arm strength most of the time.

yeh i have mentioned it before.. bout Herbet

saw a video few days back bout tua and why he is hated.. good video theres a lot of like showing a brady throw with comments like omg... world class throw by the greatest ever.
then shows tua doing the exact same throw to get, he was lucky tyreek took that to the house, terrible play... he does this with some deep ball throws from mahomes , its funny to see cause there legit everytime Identical throws and the other person doing it is gettin praised, then tuas one tua is gettin blasted.. obvious this guy was doing it to prove a point and defending tua.

anyways in this he talks bout strong arm bs, and says sometimes infact most times touch is better, then shows 3 throws of herbert, open man in endzone like 10-20 yard passes each time, and rocketing it into row z from point blank range... this strong arm bs is dumb.. sure at times it helps like hail marys, outside of that accuracy is always better and I don't get whats hard to understand there.. I really don't
 
There's absolutely no question that a big arm is very nice to have, but it's not a must. Velocity will bail you out when you're late or in need to thread the needle, but anticipation, trajectory and accuracy can achieve great results also... 3 consecutive seasons with a rating over 100 is not common.

Like basically everyone here wants the GM and HC to get fired, everyone agrees the OL is bottom of the NFL bad. But somehow, explain the unusual success Tua's had the last 3 years by saying it's because of the coaching and talent around him... Make it make sense... 🤷‍♂️

Sorry brother but either you’re misremembering or you got bad information. No body throws a football that fast.

Your reasoning is correct… but no one is throwing a football 88mph, much less 102mph.

The average NFL quarterback throws the football about 54mph. Allen and Mahomes threw it 62mph at their respective combines. Tua didn’t throw at the combine, but he most likely is able to throw it 54-55mph. Per4orm has a video of Tua cranking one out 40 yards. Some people timed it and it worked out to be about 56mph.
