North Carolina at Duke Round 2

Duke played some zone against Virginia and their speedy PG Singletary their last game. It seemed to slow him down a bit. I think Duke will start off in their usual man to man and switch to zone to try and keep Lawson out of the lane and to keep things packed in on Hansborough. Zoubek can bang with Hansborough and give 5 fouls because he won't play at the end of the game anyway. I think it comes down to both teams being able to make their 3s.
 
thats right.....now we have lawson back we're a complete head to head team and will be coming out the victors tonight as we should have the first time around
 
Won't shoot that bad in the 2nd half. Need to slow down the offense and get some rebounds on defense.

And what's that about Duke bias? Carolina was in the one and one with 11:20 left.

Lawson isn't at full speed uyet, he shows flashes but iof he is truly at full speed or even close I think the Heels will win it all. Great game winning another ACC reg season title now they hopefully go back to back in the ACC Tourney.
 
What was up with Hansborough being hammered all night and not getting a single call?
 
Hansbrough got several calls....just didn't make it to the line. The refs let both sides play.

I want to know what got into Thompson. If he can provide a shot blocking presence in the middle like he did in cameron it'll do wonders for this defense. Thats really the only aspect of Wright's game this team has missed.

i agree....on both counts

Tyler is used to getting knocked around in cameron....they showed clips of all the hits he's taken and it amounted to quite a bit...

all aspects of their game was just on point last night...the tarheels like to be showmen...so once duke started hitting on those 3s i was nervous because i was sure they were going to turn around and try to hit 3s back....but they didn't. instead they read their screens and played damn good ball. i was so impressed and happy last night....we ruined senior night for the dukies THREE years in a row now. :lol:
