if we are going to be running more 3-4 this year? do we have another pure nose othe than traylor to be the mountain in the middle? or are we gonna rotate the dt alot?

Rod is never going to be a nose IMO. He doesn't anchor well enough and he plays high at times. A bad combo for a nose tackle.
He'll be our Richard Seymour on the line and switch between 4-3 DT and 3-4 end.
Fifita and Evans will compete with Green for the backup nose, although it's quite possible none of these players make the team and we keep Zgonina to help fill this role although he's undersized.

the guy that just answerd your question just stole my thunder. This guy fafita is a real interesting prospect. 5' 11" 337 lbs. He's supposed to be real tough. The word was by the draft guys is height was was the major cocern with him. After the draft he was listred as one of the sleepers in free agency. It is also possible Manny Wright and/or Kevin Vickerson may get some looks at NT. Last year coming into the draft PFW had Vickerson listed as a premium NT. We'll see.

keep an eye on Vickerson. he's got the size to play it, we just need to see how he develops.

Vickerson is the wildcard IMO.
