Tua time!
His performance is not a surprise to the Dolphins. They expected him to be healthy based upon the work by their analytic department before they made the trade. The majority of players recovering from reconstruction get back their top end performance by year 2 after the reconstruction. Kiko's ACL reconstruction was performed in 2014. The procedure he underwent last year was to clean out scar tissue. The odds were Kiko would return to form. There was plenty of risk, but the Dolphins made an informed choice. The Eagle just gave up on Kiko.
I was looking for this answer to the question regarding why they gave up on kiko...week 1 2015 season
