In preparing for my fantasy football leagues I always look to see who we play to take that into consideration while drafting players because I never play someone when they play against the Dolphins. I also never draft, Patriots, Bills, or Jets which makes fantasy much more difficult. Worth it though.

But in looking at who we have on our schedule we don't have to go up against many of the 'monsters' of their positions this year. The first 6 QB's we face haven't been a starter for more than a year. Of course we have those last five of the season against some pretty good teams and QB's that everyone is talking about, but even those QB's are kinda manageable and we're at home except for San Diego. Then Romo, Bradford, and Brady in the middle of the season.

The running backs we face are pretty much all the middle of the pack except for McCoy (twice) and Murray. Foster may be back for Houston by the time we play them.

The only big name WR's we face are Dez and Odell. Marshall twice but he'll be frustrated and pouting before too long. TY Hilton and Andre Johnson week 15.

Tight End we have Gronk of course twice, then Witten and Gates. Charles Clay twice too.

Not to say we don't love to get beat by QB's and teams that have no business beating us! See week 17 last year. And we do have to survive those Bills and Jets defenses.

I admit I always go into the season with great optimism. But with this schedule and our overall improvements everywhere I can't wait to get this season going!!

I got tannehill, landry and the Dolphins D this yr :)

I always think I'm being crafty drafting fins low-key, hoping one day it pays off big. I've had Clay when he had big games in the past, had Miller when he had that 95ish yarder last year. won me that game infact lol

But I'm hoping for big things from Tannehill. Landry as well, especially if you play ppr. I took a late late round flyer on Parker too

Thank you fantasy football, for making defense irrelevant.

It was just an observation I made while preparing for a fantasy football draft. Our defense which is much approved will be playing against those players and I think our defense will do quite well against those offenses.

I also didn't mention coaching, kicking, and returns but I realize those are important aspects of football too.

That being said, we do play against some pretty good defenses in Houston, Buffalo (2), and Jets (2) for a total of five games against them. So there's that.

Week 1- Alfred Morris, Pierre Garcon, and DeSean Jackson.
Week 3- Sammy Watkins
Week 4- Erick Decker
Week 6- Delanie Walker
Week 7- DeAndre Hopkins
Week 10- Jordan Matthews, Zach Ertz, etc.
Week 11- Dez Bryant, Jason Witten, Terrance Williams
Week 13- Steve Smith, Justin Forsett
Week 14- Victor Cruz, Rueben Randle, Larry Donnell, Eli Manning
Week 15- Stevie Johnson, Phillip Rivers, Antonio Gates
Week 16- Andre Johnson, TY Hilton, Coby Fleener, Frank Gore, Dwayne Allen

I have Landry, Miller, and the Dolphins D on one of my teams....AUTO DRAFT! LOL!

I have Alfred morris....no idea if I should play him week one or not, considering our dline is amazing

Our D line, and the fact that the buzz is he hasn't been quite up to par this preseason. I live in the DC area, and sports talk this morning the question was if he would still be the starter by mid season.

I also think that not having rg3 running the read option is gonna hurt too. Of course my draft was before that
