I believe there are some things to be optimistic about. They biggest question mark going into the last couple years have been Chad Henne. If you look at his body of work from a talent standpoint, he's improved and I think it all started when he lead off-season workouts when he became a leader, you all know the story. I understand that it is one game but Chad Henne looked good out there. He looked poised, he made nice reads, he audibled into and out of formations from reading the defense, the cool thing is that he seeped up in the pocket and made nice throws down the field. He threw for 416 yds he threw 2 tds he rushed for 60 yds and a td and had a passer rating of 93.3 for you stat guys. He took charge of the offense and it.shows but its going to be.overlooked because Bof what Brady did and our defensive collapse. Henne and the offense is still confident.
I think our defense takes pride in not giving up the big play and will be motivated by how they got shredded up and we have a smart coordinator in Nolan it it should get fixed. You have to be encouraged by what you saw from an offensive stand point. Let's hope henne comes out firing on all cylinders again.

Same here I stated in another post if the haters want to give up on the season already then go away for a year.

most are content with henne's improvement but people are mad from realizing this team overall is average, at best. the good news is sparano will be kicked out the door and probably ireland with him.

Sparano just received a contract extension, we won't go anywhere and if we fire Ireland, we start all over again..doesn't make sense

Good for not buying into it my friend. Most of the board " experts " do not even go to the games. They piss and moan and because they post a lot they are considered as being insiders. LMAO. Crap, they moaned Pittsburgh killed us last year and wished we had their Oline, Dline, Coach and the Steelers got their *** handed to them last weekend.

since the outburst of team internet sites many many experts have popped up. Sadly thru the years I have made the mistake of meeting some of these so called experts. Lord, I can only tell you for the most part, on the internet they consider themselves kings. In real life when you finally meet them ? LMAO, you really wish you had never told them where you were tailgating or found out and agreed to go where they were tailgating. Honest, when you meet them in real life you come to a big realization, they know shiiit or shinola.

Thats why I could give two craps if I have friends on here or not. Not worth my time to argue with people that just get on the keyboard and aimlessly bang away on the keys. They follow two of the biggest loser media people on the planet earth. Omar Kelly and the other asssss clown from the Herald that are clueless themselves. I go down every year and usually make the practices and thru the years I read the reports and wonder what friggin practice the reporters were at and even the " board insiders "

Thru all this, not many even mentioning Henne had a good day and we played perhaps the best team in the NFL and if our Defense did not screw up on that 99 TD pass towards the end of the game, we would have been one score away with 4 mintues to go. They all fail tomention we moved the ball in a way we have not done in a long time. They all yearn for the Marino years and for the most part, half of them were not even born yet when Marino was drafted. Out of the NFLS 10 greatest QBs people are currently seeing two play, Manning and Brady. Pisses the assss clowns off but Marinos only come once every 20 years or so and no, Marino was not even the best QB of all time. But you are right, plenty to celebrate and plenty to look forward here this season.

Next time one of the moaning Marys start on a tirade, ask openly the last time they actually spent money to go to a game, they will not answer you. Crap, half do not even have direct tiv and worry they cannot watch the game so they get on here and explode.

well, i am not either. This is like the bunch who is going to vote for obama again cus he's a swell guy who can read a teleprompter like nobodys business.

Sparanos extension is pocket change to Ross. That is gimme money for the national embarrassment Ross caused him and because, regardless of what the experts here think, there were only crap coaches worse then Sparano available and yes, Jon Gruden is one crap coach, completely uncontrollable out of his mind. People were hoping for Cowher, LMAO. Bill Cowher is going one place to coach, NY Giants, thats it. No way he would even think about going to S Florida. Add to that the experts do not realize Cowher had nothing to do with drafting Roethlissberger, not one thing. Gms and owners make the draft picks, not head coaches. Regardless of what the clowns tell you, thats the way it is. They MAY let the HC pick a late round pick if he so chooses.

Ahmen brother, you get the picture. There are a select few here who do.

we played one game vs. the best in the nfl. i dont get the avg. part.

Haters are fail forward fast kind of people.

oh, i picture jobless wonders on food stamps who say it was bush's fault.

Let me put it this way. Even if we had lost in overtime or God Forbid, beaten NE, they still would find something to complain about, they honestly would. You see, this is their soap box, they have control over their keyboard and not much else in life.

If we had one, they still would have moaned. All they do is knock the offense but the Offense did not give up 38 friggin points. The offense went against the best front 7 in football. They went against the biggest defensive line in the NFL. They went against a team that did not change their offensive co ordinator and only had 4 weeks to learn the system. They played a team tha thas changed NOTHING in their schemes or personal.

On our side we are learning a new offense and it will not be digested until they play a full season. But you see the experts think that is unacceptable. They think because the players get paid a lot of money they are super human computers to learn fast.

On and on brother. Take nothing they say to heart. Like I said, Openly ask them something and you will get a wise guy response most likely from somebody that shines cars on a used car lot for a living.

Since when does any contract these days keep someone from being fired?

How is this guy still in office? Lmao

Sparano may not be the best hc, but we have 2 helluva coordinators and if Sparano goes, so do they. Everything we've built so gar and has taken 4 years to make goes out the window. I'm not ready to sacrifice that especially if henne plays consistently well. Whether gruden is a garbage coach or not, he's experienced and for the most part knows what he's saying. The media is all crap. They'll continue to generate stories on how miami is looking into other qbs even after Miami publicly stated Henne is their guy. Anyone else we bring in would need a considerable amount of time to learn the offense.
I understand that people want pouncey to move to the left guard position and think because of his pulling ability thats where he's suited to lineup . But I see it like this. Miami has a new rookie center who's smart and athletic, they want pouncey to get comfortable with the offense and understanding his assignments. Miami feels they have the qb and offensive system in place to do what they want to do, what better way to start fresh, new system, new of, new center. They are forcing pouncey to grow up..fast. I like that. He'll struggle but fans need to realize that were still building amd we need patience and consistency. Defense will get their **** together.

We could be doing much worse then what we have here. Do Better ? of course, you can always improve but we have to cheer for who we have. You know some people are just unhappy with life, know what I mean ? LOL
