Dolphin Dan
Alright, MIAMI!
While i personally think Henne will be fine and a good QB for us, it is really way to early to determine that. We spent a 2nd round pick on him and he is going to ge tthe rest of this year and next year to prove he is or isnt the guy.
My Issue is with the guy calling the plays. Dan Henning. He is just not getting it done from a schematic stand point. My biggest problems are things that have been going on all year not just yesterday, so this isnt some knee jerk reaction.
Problem 1: We don't use the shotgun and we playaction in obvious passing situations. This drives me nuts!!! Why put a guy under center and then use playaction when NOONE believes your going to throw the ball anyway! It has happened over times for the past 2 years. Week 1 vs the Jets last year, Week 2 vs the Colts this year, The Pats and Bills games this year. If we fall behind we can't comeback unless we have 4 plus minutes. We are like a HS team. We have no 2 minute drill.
Problem 2: We don't take chances down the field. Outside of the first play of the Bucs game and the 2 Jets games, when is the last time we attempted a pass down the field? tams do this to OUR D every week, yet we never stretch the field with a vertical passing game.
Until these are addressed it doesn't matter who our QB or WR's are. We won't be an explosive passing team. Plus, Ginn is good enough to throw the ball to once a game on a bomb??? I think he can at least do that.
