not looking forward to another rookie quaterback and the customary 3 yr incubation

so over this ****. hopefully the new GM can actually judge talent.

I thumbed you down because while I agree with not looking forward to a new QB etc. I disagree with the new GM part. I think Hickey deserves more than one year to get it right.

Nothing we can do but let the season play out and support the team. Marino and Ross will discard philbin and bring competition for tannehill if they don't improve and finish in the playoffs.

Moore isn't the a answer and benching Ryan would be a bad move.

Forget the competition part, Just bring in a new QB in next year draft. And if I were the Bills fans they should know too that the will be looking for a new QB soon too he sucks too.

I think Philbin and Tannehill are joined at the hip. The only way Moore plays this year is if Tannehill get hurt. Benching Tannehill would be Philbin showing the world and Ross, that the investment in this QB of the future was a failure. I fully expect Tannehill to show just enough in a few games this year to make people want to give it another year.

Tannehill has gotten Mike Sherman fired TWICE. Next on his hit list is Philbin. On the bright side, at least we haven't given him a big multi-year contract.

Brees was mediocre when he started and turned to downright terrible before the Chargers drafted Rivers. No QB should be expected to develop the way he did.

That is not true. Brees had a shoulder injury, torn labrum I believe, and the Chargers didn't want to put up huge $$$ in a contract year with Rivers waiting in the wings.

Sherman and Tannehill were joined at the hip, but then we got a hip replacement.

I just don't want to now start hearing that Tannehill needs yet MORE time because he's under new direction and in a new system. That's what the offseason and preseason was for. Seriously, when will he be a bonafide bust? Year 8? lol, give me a break already. This is it people, you're seeing what you have at the position. Tannehill is not completely void of any talent, he's athletic enough for the job and has a strong arm, but he's inconsistent and lacks the finesse and accuracy to really excel. So that's it, either that is good enough for you and you want to blame something or someone else on the team or you believe, as I do, that to separate yourself from the pack in this league you need an elite level QB. Stop *****footing around the core problem.
