Yeah backups battling it out
isn't exactly a measuring stick..

Though many players cut did well in that final preseason game.

Will Allen looked good
causing a turnover covering well and tackling.
Spears was bringing the pressure.
Devlin had a decent drive with his only drive.
Livas caught a critical 4th and 5
and showed us something at receiver.
LJ with the long 28 yard touchdown run.

It is like these guys had no shot
once it was the final preseason game
like these cuts were preplanned before game time..

I think most here would like spears over spitler
unless you got a blood fetish.

i can see why they let livas go
as they feel like the rules
wont mean many kickoff returns
and they think they can get gates
and the sure handed bess to do it
and keeping him wasn't worth dropping the talented moore or wallace.

2 weeks ago i thought will Allen was gone
but he looks like a gamer now And i don't see how Nolan Carrol beats out will allen..

As much as i like all the d lineman

It would have been better if they performed in all four games and training camp ahead of that.

Devlin makes the practice squad im happy about that

it still a long shot possibility that the dolphins may bring back will allen or LJ
after the 1st game to wipe-out previous contract obligations.
