Not new news, but more evidence Ronnie's signing is imminent

I'm not sure I read it the same way, however I don't think we have a P.Rivers situation here. Ronnie seems level headed. I look forward to seeing more of him soon.

now that the RIcky stuff is out of the way I am really looking foward to seeing this guy.

This is why I read it that way:

Miami had been waiting for Smith to sign before completing its deal with running back Ronnie Brown ...

"He's got to wait until the business part of it gets straightened out," Jason Taylor said after the Dolphins' first training-camp practice. "I think everyone understands why he's not here. It's part of the game."

Dolphins coach Nick Saban also indicated he wasn't surprised Brown was not at the first practice, especially because Miami was the first team to formally open training camp.

"Our people are doing an outstanding job of trying to get the business end of this done," Saban said. "But I think this is a circumstance that we don't have total control on, based on timing."

ronnie and RW in the same backfield is going to be a dangerous combo, cant wait to see it... opponent D's are going to be in some trouble.

This contract Brown will get may make him the highest paid RB in the league. Wonder how Ricky will feel about that. Whatever they give Ronnie, it'll be too much. I do look forward to his career as a phin, but the system in place is gonna over value him.

The Rivers situation was complicated by the fact that he was traded for the number one overall pick. Because of this, he wanted more money than the number 4 was due. Also, I believe the Chargers were trying to be cheap. I don't expect Ronnie's deal to take more than 2-3 more days to get done.

I was watching the Hot List and they were saying that since Ronnie is the 1st RB taken that Benson and Caddy are waiting to see what Ronnie gets before they sign. Now Ronnie you know it's rude to hold people up so lets get a deal done ASAP.
