Look toward the end of the story. It sounds like Ronnie's deal has been in the works waiting for a final figure. I would look for the deal to get done VERY soon.

The Rivers situation was complicated by the fact that he was traded for the number one overall pick. Because of this, he wanted more money than the number 4 was due. Also, I believe the Chargers were trying to be cheap. I don't expect Ronnie's deal to take more than 2-3 more days to get done.

I was watching the Hot List and they were saying that since Ronnie is the 1st RB taken that Benson and Caddy are waiting to see what Ronnie gets before they sign. Now Ronnie you know it's rude to hold people up so lets get a deal done ASAP.

ronnie will make more than ricky but wont be the highest paid back
