not one bleacherreport "expert" has picked miami to win sunday 12-0 sweep

If you were not a fan of the dolphins would you pick us to win? Would you pick team A who is playing great or team B who seems to be falling apart?

team b is falling apart? same team that beat the bengals and chargers after "bullygate"? Also beat the Colts? i think team B is more of a team trying to find out who they really are.

carolina lost to buffalo on the road.
carolina lost to arizona on the road.

the only road win they have that is respectable is @ 49ers...by slimmest of margins 1 point
beating the vikings and bucs on the road is nothing to rave about they are not a good road team, period

Cardinals register 7 sacks to put away Cam Newton, Panthers
http://espn.go.com/nfl/recap?gameId=331006022

are we capable of registering 7 sacks? im sure we can

Picking us is against the odds.

Why would an expert pick us....Carolina has been playing excellent football & they can run...especially Cam....plus he has been very smart with the ball...Cam could have a very big game.
We have not been good against the run...but who knows...maybe we run & Tannehill throws 3 TD's!

Don't understand the outrage. Experts all picked bucs to beat us too. I'd rather it be this way. If we lose it will be expected, if we win they will come up with tireless excuses on what went wrong for panthers and no credit will be given for fins. Only thing that will change public opinion on us is taking the last seed for playoffs. Otherwise we will get no (and do not deserve) respect. Winning 4 or 5 of last six would change perception

Not focused on any talking head...especially Bleacher report, they aren't terrible, they just aren't qualified to write and make those types of predictions.

EVERY ONE will pick the Panthers to win anyway, not just them,

I don't pay attention to those types of things anyway

Their Week 11 Consensus Picks:

Jets 11-1 - Oops
Ravens 9-3 - Oops
Lions 11-1 - Oops
Texans 12-0 - Oops
Chargers 10-2 - Oops

These are some of their comments on the Chargers/Dolphins game predictions:

Schottey: Chargers, 23-17

The long trip worries me, but the Dolphins don't.

Bowen: Chargers, 23-19

There are too many issues on the Dolphins offensive line versus a Chargers defense that has the opportunity to send pressure all day long.

Schalter: Chargers, 24-14

The Chargers are somehow still in the playoff hunt after two straight losses, and Miami is a disaster.

Freeman: Chargers, 28-17

The Dolphins continue their slide into the toilet.

Miller: Chargers, 28-21

The Dolphins are officially a dumpster fire. They may not win again all season.

Frenz: Dolphins, 27-21

This game will have big implications for the wild-card chances of both teams. This could be Mike Wallace's biggest game of the year against struggling Chargers cornerback Derek Cox. If the Dolphins stay committed to the running game and open things up for Tannehill over the middle, they should pick up the victory.

Hangst: Chargers, 21-14

The Chargers are trying to figure things out on defense, but they are still better on that side of the ball than the Dolphins. On offense, San Diego has found a rhythm. As long as the Chargers can keep the pressure on Ryan Tannehill and the offense keeps humming, a road win is almost assured for them.

Hansen: Dolphins, 24-21

The Chargers are flying across the country, which is rarely a good thing for teams from the West Coast. San Diego's defense is highly suspect and its offensive line is in shambles, so Philip Rivers won't be able to stay on his feet. I don't like their chances.

Bardeen: Chargers, 30-17

The Dolphins have lost five of their last six games, and no one looks really good on this sinking ship. San Diego has dropped two straight, but it is in a much better place than this Miami team.

Gagnon: Chargers, 27-17

Ordinarily I'd be skeptical of San Diego in a road game like this one, but Miami is a mess right now and the Chargers are good enough to avoid a three-game losing streak.

Langland: Chargers, 34-17

On and off the field, the Miami Dolphins are an absolute mess. San Diego will make quick work of a team that is in total disarray.

Kruse: Chargers, 24-18

San Diego has dealt with some problems away from home, but the Dolphins are just too inconsistent. Philip Rivers and some late heat on Ryan Tannehill provide the advantage for the Chargers.

They completely trash the Dolphins yet they lose whatever "credibility" they had to begin with.

25.83 to 14 is the avg score predicted, either way this game goes I see it as being a close game in the forth similar to the pats game 24-20 hopefully Miami is the 24

We have not been good against the run...but who knows...maybe we run & Tannehill throws 3 TD's!

Newton has not been very smart with the ball. He got lucky 3 times in the Patriots game. He should have had 3 easy interceptions. He threw into double coverage several times and is very inaccurate. Put Brent Grimes on Steve Smtih and this game will be closer than people think. I am not saying Miami will win, but Cam Newton's best weapon is his legs. Tannehill is a better passer than Cam Newton is.

we just beat the chargers...ur point? plus the patriots arent what they used to be but besides that u would think ONE of these so called experts would see ok well they r at home fighting for their playoff lives short week for panthers,6 game win streak, maybe we take them by "storm" but no every one of them picked panthers,i didnt expect the majority to pick miami but come on how do these people make predictions like this ? blasphemy

Ok so now you're comparing the Chargers to the Patriots. I'm just saying the Panthers are playing some really good football against some really good teams, and we haven't been getting much credit from the experts all season. No reason to expect experts to pick in our favor. They tend to go with popular opinion and are wrong as often as they are right.

Not relevant. Carolina beat the PATRIOTS. Therefore they MUST win out.

why should anyone pick the PHINS???

CAR is the media darliing right now ... and well -- they have earned it over the last couple weeks against SB contenders. Yes, PHINS have beaten 2 DIV leaders (IND + CIN) .... but are 2-5 over the last 7 weeks .... whereas CAR is 7-1 over the last 8 ...

so, who should be favored??? NOT saying they are a better team, but we all know how this goes ..... since week 3, MIA has not earned any media splash ....

i cant wait till we win so these idiots can feel dumb.

Do you feel dumb when you expect a favored team to win and they don't?

This "expert" picks us to win in another tight fourth quarter battle. 21 - 17

Grimes has been going against Smith twice a year when he was in Atl so he knows his moves. Patterson should have no trouble with Teddy. The only thing that worries me is Cam on the run.
