I know this might not be right place to post this, but had to check Browns fan forum:

So, who ordered their Brady Quinn jerseys already?

I know I did!

I'm about to drop some hate on the Browns, so don't read this post if you're looking for the rah rah shish boom bah stuff.

I just can't bite my lip anymore. I have to get this off of my chest.

The Browns are notoriously stupid. Now, they have taken stupidity to a level never seen before by trading away the...#...1...overall...pick...in the 2008 draft to Dallas for Brady F-ing Quinn.

That's right, Brady "Drivekiller" Quinn. The guy who can't shoot straight is the guy we are hanging our hopes on. Instead of taking the guy who is the best QB prospect since Peyton Manning (i.e. Brian Brohm), we have Brady "Inconsistent Accuracy" Quinn.

Fast forward to 2010/2011:
"It's moves like those that continue to keep Cleveland at their level of suck," said all the pundits. "Adrian Peterson just ran for 2700 million yards for MIN, and Darrenn McFadden just ran for 2400 million yards for Dallas. They had their chance at both, but squandered it in order to gamble it all away on snake eyes."

Never have I hoped that I am so wrong.

Well, I fell better now. Thanks for not reading.

Go Quinn!!!
Go Browns!!!

think NAV made a great point about durability. That's one thing that could definitely bite Brohm in the ***. Attitude is another (see Ryan Leaf).

However, aside from that, there are 2 things that determine whether a QB will be good or not.

#1. Knowing when and where to throw the ball. Some people refer to this as "reading a defense" or "anticipating the open man."

and;

#2. Having the accuracy to put it when and where the ball needs to be.

I'm telling you. QBs are not as big of a crapshoot as everyone makes it out to be. QBs are crapshoots because GMs and Coaches see an amazing physical specimen and think that they can make a football player out of him.

Best "athlete" available is not the same as best "player" available.

Brian Brohm has #1 and #2. Quinn doesn't have #2. "Inconsistent accuracy" is not something I want in my "franchise" QB.

haha i like this post, the browns will be disapointed in quinn i think/hope and i hope beck becomes the new QB dominator in the league

And if the Dolphins had picked Brady Quinn, well, let's just say that you'd make a bigger jackazz over how he was going to be the greatest QB since the sainted Dan Marino than you've already made over why he's supposedly going to be a bust.

You have absolutely no qualifications to judge whether Quinn is going to be a good pro QB or not, and since he's not on your team, so why don't you stop acting like a twelve-year-old and let go of it? Your team has its own rookie QB. Pay attention to him and his development, not what another team's QB is doing.

BTW, what about JaMarcus Russell? He's supposedly better than Quinn and Beck. Are you going to create a "Bust" jersey for him, too? Or is it that you're jealous that Cleveland got the QB that you wanted for the Dolphins?

I was thinking the same thing.

Well said.

I didn't creat any of the posts or pictures. I just went to the Brown's fan site to see what was said about quinn, and thought it would be interesting to post a few of the Brown fan's responses.

The main thing there is that Quinn is still better than Frye. Many do like him, but there are some (like here with Beck) that don't. So just posting a few examples that everything is not all roses with Brown fans too.

I like Beck as QB, and think we did fin with getting him, especially at 40.

Inspite of this crap ...i think quinn is going to win more games than russell this year.

A team is build in the trenches and they got a nice gaurd and a OT and a rb is going to get his holes to run putting less presure on quinn. In NFL its more about reading defences or in many case neturalizing it with short passing game and running,.Big plays are rarity then norm.
