So we'll probably lose tonight, and go 1-4 this preseason. Big deal I say!!

I figure it this way, the one game we really game plan for (Tampa) we play pretty darn well. You got the feeling that - if spread accross an entire game - our scheme would overpower their scheme (and maybe Gus would hit one of those deep passes :-). Tonight, there's no game planning, and there was none in the first three games either. Makes a huge difference at any football level, but especially the NFL.

Now, not saying we're going to have a phenominal season, but I do expect us to be competitive every week, and eek out maybe 8-10 wins as a result. Even if we don't reach .500, we're still going to see a solid effort every week. For that reason, I'm excited for the season to finally start. Enough of this preseason BS! :yell:

I wouldnt buy anything from this game except that Donnie Jones has a job, because if Saban doesnt stick with him, he will be somewhere else.

I agree, I really liked what I saw in the beginning of the Bucs game and if thats what we have to look forward to its going to be a FUN year......That being said if we play like we have the other 4 games.... :shakeno: I just hope if Gus is the starter he starts getting the deep passes in the same area code as the WR.
