Why is it so difficult to make a decision either way? Jesus Christ, people get fired every day, all around the world. Can the Dolphins just come out and make an announcement either way?

This team is so dysfunctional it's unreal.

That's not true. Frankly i could care less. I'd rather he be fired for the piss poor line play than anything else. But if the Dolphins were indeed informed to hold off, then come out and tell the Media that. It's really not that hard. There are PR departments designed specifically for this.

All it would take is someone coming out and saying that "We are awaiting the NFL's decision before taking any action regarding an employee."

There's probably a fair bit of legal wrangling going on in the background over Turner's terms of departure. Ordinarily, he'd just be cut, but with the Wells report thing there are probably suits and counter-suits being threatened unless the severance terms are agreeable.

The guy is surely toast. It's just a question of how much butter is spread.

Meh...he may not being going to the combine just because he has some pent up animosity towards Martin and his camp. The Dolphins and Martin's camp are supposed to talk while there. If it was me and I was safe I still wouldn't go because I'd probably strangle that cup cake.

Just offering a different perspective. Turner should be fired on the performance of the O-line alone but he may not be going because he doesn't want to be anywhere near Jonathan Martin too.

After rumors surfaced how he fought to keep Sherman, I don't think Philbin likes firing his buddies regardless of what the scenario is.
