Here, IMO, is the perfect situation. I think CP still has some good years ahead of him. "If" the team continues to improve, defensively, I can't imagine a better QB with the running game we have behind him (ricky/ronnie) than CP. Ideally you see CP get 2-3 years in the program to prove he can take them into, and deep into the playoffs. If not, after 2-3 years, you hand the keys to Henne. Injury, of course, forces your hand earlier, and that is fine with me. But ideally, CP gets his shot. Give the guy a top notch receiver next year and who knows what he could do if the defense continues to improve. CP does 1 thing that very few QB's in this league do, and that is he doesn't lose games with testosterone-induced throws. Most guys you say that about simply can't throw the ball, but he can. I think he's a poor-man's Joe Montana, given the right supporting cast. Please note, I did say poor-man's Montana...
