Here's what Shannon Sharpe says:

"Miami is good enough to be undefeated. The Dolphins have been betrayed by turnovers in their two losses, but I truly feel they are worthy of being 4-0. Not that that matters because you are what your record says you are, but that's just my two cents."

Pretty much what I think, but I think the penalties are the bigger problem. If the team wasn't trying to fight an uphill battle yesterday I don't think there would have been as many turnovers. Hopefully this team can overcome the penalties because as we saw in the 2nd half of the game, when this team doesn't make silly mistakes it looks pretty impressive (in my opinion anyway).

Yeah it doesn't really matter now because we did lose those two games but this team is far from last years team and they should only get better as the season goes along.

You know the more I see of this team now ... it brings back memories of the old Raiders, where they had the turnovers and tons of penalties but played through them to win.

I mean 18 penalties and 5 turnovers look at what happens to teams in this league that do that, they get pounded on but hey, at least we were in it till the end.

Guess what Im trying to say is ... I actually took it as a positive that we could screw up that bad and still be in the game. Last year we would of lost by 40.

I was thinking exactly the same thing.

I see it as a positive because it's something that can be fixed this season. And with the proper motivation (bench) could be fixed in a short time. If we didn't have enough quality players, that can't be fixed in a short amount of time. Realistically we still have problems at offensive line, defensive back and QB. Frerotte continues to show why he has been a backup for almost his entire career. So I suspect it will require another offseason before we could make a serious playoff push.

I agree with some of this, but I think the secondary scheme is starting to make up for our shortcomings at DB. Say what you want about the Bills but Moulds and Evans are two really good receivers and Holcomb isnt a bad QB. Yet we managed to keep them in check.

The OLine did a pretty decent job all in all till the last couple of plays where they couldnt keep the rush off of Gus to throw the long ball to try to win it.

I agree with the Gus issue but half heartedly so. Seems Gus has the biggest problems when trying to throw to Chambers. He had some really pretty passes yesterday, and so far through the season it seems the really nice passes he throws are to Booker. The chemistry is there with those two I think. Gus really needs to try to get better accuracy when throwing to Chambers its either overthrown or underthrown it seems. I really liked the way Chris Chambers came back for the ball and fought for it (even though he lost the battle) on the interception where he was boxed under and over.

I think QB is our only weakness at this time, Gus has been notorious for playing better at home than on the road and it seems that this trait is continuing.
