We have all seen how Parcells is bringing over several members of the cowboys to our dolphins. He is obviously using that blueprint for our rebuilding and I think that Henne is the next instance of this. Both Henne and Romo are 6'2 224lbs and described as fearless gunslingers. Henne will be developed like Romo was and we will have our qb.

I had Henne in my mock as an alternate for the 2b. pick. Months ago I was talking about Henne and thought he had a style that would translate well to the NFL, especially going against real good competition. I really like Beck, but the competition can only help him and this now increases our chances of finding our QB for the future. Instead of having just 1 shot with 1 guy, we double our chances now... Good move!

the more I think about it the more I like the pick..his last game was the bowl game playing the gators and with all the presure they were bringing he still had a good game with 3 TD's so he can play under presure.

Ozzy rules!!

So you think he's just going to be average?

John kitnas a pretty good qb throwing over 4 thousand yards but no i meant the qb he most resembles but i hope he turns out great.

Yeah but Henne isnt mobile. So i dont think Romo is a good comparison. He's a bit undersized but whatever so are 50% of the QB's in the NFL. The guy has a Big arm and can make any throw. Lets give him time and fix his mechanics and footwork and we got ourselves a good QB.

Be careful overrating guys on draft day, it doesn't seem like it was long ago that John beck was the next great dolphin QB.

Wait a minute Henne may not be able to rush for yards but has good footwork and can move around the pocket and give himself and his receivers that extra second. That Gator bowl footage look at him just step up past the rush of Harvey (who was WAAAY overpaid for by the Jags) he has good instincts and just hope he isnt like Romo in the fact that it takes up 4 years to see his talent on the field
