I actually am hoping we loose against KS this weekend, let me explain why. Although we have been playing good football, we are not a great team, and to win five straight games is hard. Also I am a little superstitious, and believe three game winning streaks are about average. But I do believe after a loose to KC will equal a win in NY, and that game is more important. If we win in KC and lose in NY we are out of the playoffs. If we lose in KC and win in NY, not only do we get in the Playoff, but we have our first game home. So basically what I am saying is I would rather win in NY than in KC, if I can't have both.

I'm sure the team will be loose for the game. They gotta be b/c it'll be cold out there.

if we lose to KC and beat the Jets, we'd only win the division if the Pats lose one of their next 2 games...

if we lose 1 and the Pats win out, they'd get in over us

YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME

Kinda obvious, and funny seeing we are playing Herm this game. Try telling him it is better to lose a game then win it, guess what, you play to win the game. I want to win out the division and I want the Patriots to win out b/c that way... New England could miss the playoffs with a 11-5 record  That would be so awesome.

If we lose we are out of the playoffs man.

NE aint losing their last 2.

Losing is NOT an option...why leave it up to other teams to win or lose as the case may be. We win out and we are in...your superstitions are irrelevant. :)

If we lose against Kansas City then we would have to win against the Jets. If New England wins out we're screwed.... If they lose against the Cardinals and win against the Bills we're still screwed. but if they win against the cardinals and lose against the bills. We get the playoff spot.

I'm just happy to have a winning season, the thought of playoffs is great but my expectations are slightly lower.

So basically you would rather our chances be in the hands of other teams AKA THE PATS instead of our own?? Hmm nice decision, nice thoughts!!

absolutely not. These players believe in themselves and rightfully so. In football, it's your record in November and December that set the tone for the playoffs. Let's go Phins.....

If we lose to KC, we'd only need the Pats to lose once, not twice.

Even so, losing to KC means losing control of our playoff fate and relying on help from the Cardinals or Bills (or from both of Baltimore's opponents, for a wildcard).

It would not be a good result in any way.

Are you kidding me?

At this point in the race no one wants to lose any games. There's no time for the wheels to fall off at this time. The team to lose the next game is one step behind the playoff picture.

Not to mention, if we win out, and Baltimore loses their next 2, we may have a wildcard in our hands.

I never bash the posters, but when someone starts a thread with the sentence "not to be negative" and then follows it up with I want the Dolphins to lose the next game, I don;t knoiw how much more negative it can get then that.

This thread gets 1 star for being such a horrible thread. In fact it should be considered as being moved to the spam section.
