What if what the people who have seen him this weekend have said turns out to be true and A.J. ends up not picking things up after these camps and four exhibitions, does anyone have a problem with Saban if he decided to keep as his QBs...

1) Frerotte
2) Rosenfels
3) Berlin

if they ACTUALLY have looked better than A.J. Feeley? In short, does anyone have a problem with Nick Saban sending the message again that he's in charge and letting go of a guy who we gave up a second round pick for? He'd basically be saying that 1) It's my team and I'll make the decisions that are best for the Miami Dolphins and I'll decide who our best players are. And 2) The Feeley for a 2nd round pick decision was indeed a terrible one that I'm cutting ties with right now rather than continue to add any credibility to the move that took place before I got here.

I'd actually be OK with it if A.J. (a pro for many years now) can't outperform a college QB who's just gotten here and had a dubious career at UM. If Berlin would actually look better than AJ, then don't you have an obligation to the squad as the coach to keep who you feel are your best three QBs even if it means flushing a 2nd rounder (which many felt had been done two years ago anyway)? I'm hoping that a light comes on for A.J. and he proves to be one of our two best QBs by the beginning of the season, as I think it makes our team stronger, but if he's not, what's wrong with Nick saying "enough is enough, the last guys screwed up and I'm correcting the decision right now"?

if berlin looks better then aj then yeah cut him, cause the thing is, berlin isnt very good

We have been spoiled and blessed with the likes of 17 years on Dan the Man. I was in college the last time we went to the Super Bowl, 20 years ago:( I believe in Saban, he will do whats best for the team and its future(and his job security:lol: ) So as much as I would be dissapointed at that decision, I'd be ok with it and move on. Its gonna happen for the Fins, we have a lot of good years, a few great years, and now our most recent season was horrible, so lets enjoy the ride to greatness, where teams will fear playing the Dolphins:fire:

There is no way AJ wont make the team.

There is no way this happens. Berlin and Sage have no chance of passing AJ on the the depth chart.

Yeah I have to agree 100% This is the 2nd or 3rd time I've seen someone say this today and it's kind of disturbing to me.

Should AJ do terrible, I say yeah, cut him. Start Guss with Rosenfels behind him and we can trade Berlin for a second round pick. The Bills would snatch up an average quarterback from the U in a half a second

You couldn't get an order of buffalo wings for Berlin. IMO

You certainly couldnt trade him for much more than that considering he went undrafted a few months ago. People who passed on him in the 7th round in April arent going to give up a first day pick for him now in June.

Yeah thats my rationale behind that thought, plus other things I guess. I'd say he is a practice squad guy at best, but with other areas that need more depth and development I'm pretty sure we won't be carrying a QB on the ps. I could be wrong about that though .

If AJ can't out perform Sage or Brock, I say let him go. Don't think that will happen though. Aj must be better then Brock?

Well....I'd like to think that A.J.'s better than Brock but from going by what I've read from people who were in attendance this weekend.....GULP! That's why I asked the question to begin with...and that's why Saban makes the money....to make that kind of tough call after what we invested in Feeley. Here's hoping it works out for us.

I'm sorry but this is a bad statement!!! No Chance????? Come on....... do you honestly believe Saban is going to just ink Feeley in as a starter, or even the 2nd stringer if he is clearly being outperfomed by the likes of Rosenfels or Berlin??? Remember what Saban said....... It's an OPEN competition......."OPEN" meaning it's anybody's job to win, and/or lose. It is indeed Possible AJ is cut before the season starts, it's not very probable at all, but it is "Possible"
