Not to continue to bag on AJ, but if at the end of preseason...

There is no way this happens. Berlin and Sage have no chance of passing AJ on the the depth chart.
sage throws a better ball as for berlin i never liked the guy

I hate when AJ has a bad day, the people who don't like him light up the board like a xmas tree, it's mini camp, yesterday it was Gus missing receivers, I don't remember a whole thread dedicated to the subject...Guys give them time..

We did not give up a 2nd round for Gus.

I really think there's no freakin way AJ gets outperformed by Berlin. AJ will come around by the time the season opens I believe.

I don't remember these types of threads when Dan had bad days, and we gave up a first for him..you guys need to get real and realize as they go though the growing pains of learning this O, there will be days like this for AJ, Gus, and Sage.

Dan earned that privilege, AJ has not!

Cmon, theres always the Canes homer factor in a lot of these threads but Berlin over AJ? Im not a AJ supporter but my God lets get some common sense here people. Berlin is camp fodder. I think he has a shot at starting down the road...in NFL Europe of the CFL. Lets think a little before posting people.

AJ's in the process of earning that, you have to start somewhere and he's starting to learn this O, like you would want ppl to give you sometime to adjust to something new, be nice enough to allow AJ the same. :D

There is no way they will cut AJ in training camp.He will get a chance to show what he has next year and if Saban doesnt like what he sees then maybe he will cut him if he cant trade him.

I would not make a judgement on AJ on a couple of days of mini-camp.He seldom practices well.

AJ has always been known to not be much of a practice player. For people to bring these type of subjects up before the players even put on some pads in ridiculous. If Channing Crowder out performs Zach Thomas IN MINI CAMP should we cut zach?

Well hell........ he hasn't done too well in games either. Bad Practice player, and doesn't perform well in games doesn't sound like a starting caliber QB to me!!!

You can slam the Canes and me at the same time all you want, but I'm going by what people's eyes are telling them AT THIS POINT AND TIME. Yes, I would hope that Feeley would ultimately beat out Berlin for a friggin' roster spot or else the guy's been a total imposter at the NFL level all of this time if he shows he's not able to after all of the practices and exhibition games. Let's keep our fingers crossed that he'll get better.

This is kinda dumb cause this applies to everyone at any position. I just dont see the point. Of course Saban will pick the best players and cut the worst.

If i recall correctly he played pretty damn well when he was on a decent team(philly) If you wanna base your judgement on Feeley on how he played on a terrible offence then be my guest.

Actually, he didn't. He had, at best, average stats against poor competition. The most anybody can say is that they won the games. He was basically a lesser version of Fiedler, another QB who wasn't good enough. Everybody wants AJ to do well, but at this point he has shown nothing more than the few flashes every NFL QB (not just starters) are capable of.
