I'd say Gase has finally pounded it through Tbaums head how you play off-season poker. Get more than you give.

Branch is getting a bit too much, but Stills seems in line. Jones is a wrecking machine, the defensive version of Landry. I don't mind the Fasano signing.

It isn't flawless, but SO much better than in the past. It seemed like they thought the cap applied per guy, rather than the whole damn team.

Thus far I like what I see. Let's see how they handle the guard situation, then go balls out for defense in the draft.

I like that their money is going to keeping their own players. I'm tired of winning the FA sweepstakes.

What about a guard?
Here ya go.

would like, for once, for the dolphins to prove they can land some sort of a "win" along the offensive line...every year it's the same issue

It is refreshing after all these years to finally have a coach that looks at the big picture over the next couple of years compared to making flashy headline from season to season. I would love to be a fly on the wall when owner and upper management(including coach) meet. Is this a partnership or is Gase slowly taking over the reins of power. Thoughts.

We are doing an excellent job so far, IMO. The guards will come. They're clearly waiting for the second/third wave of guys there.

Get Timmons and Sheard in here and I'm thrilled. Now we need a FS too. Hopefully Harmon or Wilcox.

There is still some talent out there, notably guard T.J. Lang of the Packers. Also, S D.J. Swearinger, CB Morris Claiborne, DT's Jonathan Hankins and Nick Fairly. LB's Hightower and Simmons that could possibly be wearing a Miami uniform next year.

Both sort of. As much as people hate Tannenbaum here, I think he and Gase have a good relationship and he understands Gase's vision for the team.

I know why I don't work for the Dolphins now because I don't get any of the moves made or the rumored visits.

Branch was probably the weakest link on the line last year. Maybe they think he is entering his prime.

Stills is our 3rd receiver I wonder what Landry is thinking.

Fasano? I don't get giving up on Sims but this doesn't seem like a big deal.

Timmons? Ehhh.

Sheard after you signed Branch? Combined they have less sacks than Wake.

I don't see how any of these moves have made us better. I would have preferred spending the money in the trenches where the draft is weak and drafting where it is strong, Edge, LB, S, TE.

I guess I will have to keep my day job!

Really like that the team had a backup plan in case Sims left. Fasano is a nice get. Yes, I'd prefer a younger Sims but you can't win them all.

Guards are flying off the free agent market. Don't want to go into the draft needing two guards so that needs to be a priority at this point. Miami needs to get one starting caliber guard in free agency.

Why in the world are you even "OK" with Anthony Fasano?

I was blown away he is still in the nfl. Guy was riding the decent meter when he was here 30 years ago. I can't see one reasonable thing signing him or why we are using precious f/a money on him. No happiness for me so far in 2017 dolphin land so far.

Did see Browns just signed Zeitler and the Pats are signing Stephen Gilmore and the Ravens got Tony Jefferson. This team is NOT good enough to rely on just the draft. We need at least 2 starters from f/a from the guard, lb, secondary pool. Then finish with the draft. The statement made by the team the other day about being able to find guards easily in the later rounds scares the hell out of me. That is just poor nfl mentality and if was so easy to find guards, how come we have...., none? The last 4 regimes have all preached that but it hasn't worked.

Anthony Fasano. I don't know what is more surprising, us signing him or that he is still in the NFL. If I hear the team saying "we just didn't have the money" when our guards are sucking I am flying a 747 into the finz office (sans allah).

He was the best blocking TE in the NFL.

Sims would've been to expensive.

he was the #1 rated blocker for tight ends last year, but go ahead and not be interested in that. He an J Thomas now allow Gase to fully run his 2TE base Offense. I loved the signing. Plus he's a great locker room guy, true leader
