.........and that's why you're a shame brother........ shouldn't be supporting that weasel Ricky Williams.

Me a shame? Your a shame...I can support whoever I want, just because I choose to give the guy the benefit of the doubt doesn't mean I am a shame! A lot of people support him, I am not the only one.

When I first started this thread, the poll was almost reversed to what it is now. It's amazing what a little excitement will do...not to mention the fact that RW is working hard and showing all the signs of wanting to play hard and be successful. Alot of people are taking notice to that. Saban and Ricky both have also done a nice job of keeping this from being a circus. I'm a bit surprised it hasn't been built up even more by the media. But as of now, it's as if he never left.

If it does seem like its as if he never left, thats only because we are not in a position that we have to depend on Ricky. If we had not drafted Brown and if Gordon were not healthy you would probably see us scrambling to pick up a quality back regardless of how sincere Ricky may seem. Saban isnt dumb enough to place the fate of the team in someone with a history such as Ricky's

You're right, if we didn't have depth, we'd be looking for someone to obtain. But I'm not sure if you got my point. The point is, I don't think the Ricky Situation will be the distraction alot of people thought it would be.

OK...I see where you are coming from. And you are correct. I thought it would be a much bigger distraction since Saban is supposedly all about accountability. He has handled it extremely well though, especially by starting Ricky out at the bottom of the depth chart. I tip my hat to Saban for apparently diffusing a potentially explosive situation.

dave wannstedt almost ruined my love for the dolphins....:(

nick saban is making me love them more than ever. the guy is exciting and the excitement bubbles over to the fans.

him and ricky handled the situation perfectly. i never thought that ricky's reinstatement would go so smoothly and in such a way that most fans are either indifferent to it or extremely excited.

i for one am excited .....if the steelers can run a 1,2 punch like staley and bettis...why cant we run a ricky, ronnie one? wewt!!!
