Not trying to say I Told You So...

yeah clayton and duper are real role models:

Wide Receiver - Mark Duper (1989 Accused of Rape, charges eventually dropped, 1994 charged with buying cocaine with intent to sell)

Wide Receiver - Mark Clayton (1993 Dead Beat Dad)

just saying that players make mistakes

big difference is clayton and duper didn't walk out on their team and leave them hanging.

I dont think most people want him to stay. I think they want him to showcase his talent so that some team makes a trade offer for him and his flip out isn't a total waste to this organization

Amen Bro, and that is and should be Saban's total focus on RW...

I am happy he is back.

We will have the best backfield in the NFL.

When did you talk to Saban? You have insider info on his intentions with Ricky? He won't be traded this year, if at all. He has more value for this team to PLAY for us than the 7th round pick we would get for him right now. No team would give up anything more for him - even if he lights it up in every preseason game. Saban isn't going to trade him for a 6th or 7th. That would be a complete waste. It woul dhave to be a 3rd or higher. Now, how many people can see that happening?

But it seems to me like ALOT of people who didn't want Ricky back are changing their minds. Yes?

Give them time. These fans will be loving him soon enough. Ronnie is Ricky's backup, until Saban sees enough trade value in him. That won't be until next year, and if he has to much value he'll be here for the long haul. (ie Drew Brees, Phillip Rivers)

RBRicky
Ronnie
Lamar
Kay Jay

FBHeath Evans
Sammie Morris

No.

Don't mistake accepting that he is back for wanting him back. There is a big difference.
Agree, what have we got to loose? We drafted the top RB this past year...

I knew you would resurface with that.

I still want him back so we can trade him. Hopefully he has a good career and happiness somewhere else. I don't wish him malice, but I don't want to rely on him. Now that we have Ronnie, it's less of an issue anyway.
