Yeah don't count on Droopy Ross saying anything like that. His statement will say "After I thought long and hard, I knew I picked the right men in Jeff Ireland and Joe Philbin to move this team forward".
 
The owner who has fired 5 coaches in 7 years. Browns were competitive this year inspite of having major QB issues and limited offensive weapons outside of Josh Gordon.

He continues to make the same statement and the Browns continue to stink the joint up. Apparently Chud wasn't very well liked and it could have more to do with this situation than anything else.

Mr Ross. Clean house we can stay average for yrs with these clowns. Then talk to the NFL and say we want 1 pm games in Sept. Why give up such a home field advantage? It is like Greenbay not wanting to play at home in late dec.
 
Browns are a wreck.

They fired the wrong guy. BANNER is the one that should be fired.

This is all over Banner and Chud getting in a fight about not cutting Greg Little and Weeden mid season.

You know a team that had 0 QBS health and no weapons outside Josh Gordon who Banner wanted to trade from CLE for a 2nd.

Browns will never be good with Banner running the show there.

Oooo don't give me the Lombardi thing he works for Banner
 
Cleveland's owner is an idiot not the guy Ross should model himself after , although Ross really hasn't been much better
 
Every owner says the same thing when they fire the coach. The Browns are not something to emulate they have way more problems then we have, we have a key piece already in Tannehill they have......Weeden
 
With Banner winning that power struggle, we should explore a trade for Gordon when the time comes.

Firing a coach after one year? And the Brown have had 5 coaches in the last 7 - 8 years....how has that worked out for them!

Ross wants to surround himself with his overpaid geek squad.

He doesn't have any balls to fire everyone.

He doesn't have the balls to face the mistakes he's made and deliver to the fans the world what truly needs to be done.

He "feels" too much for the people in the FO and doesn't think enough like a business man.

If I delivered results like that at my job over 2 years, I'd be fired faster than bees on honey.

Without a ****ing million dollar severance package.

Philbins record is poor and he has no ability to motivate a team. He's had 2 years time to move on.
