After finishing his first minicamp practice with the Miami Dolphins, the newest member of the team said he noticed something quickly after being signed to a contract.
“The sun, obviously,” defensive tackle C.J. Mosley said. “It’s a lot more humid down here. It’ll be a pretty tough thing to adjust to, but it shouldn’t be that difficult.”
It actually shouldn’t be that difficult for Mosley to adjust to anything considering he joined the Dolphins last week after already having spent 10 NFL seasons with five different teams.
Mosley, who joined the Dolphins after playing the past two seasons with the Detroit Lions, said he had opportunities to join other teams but a visit to team headquarters convinced him South Florida was the place he needed to be.
“I’m the type of guy that kind of lets things just fall where they fall, just kind of let them come to me,” Mosley said. “An opportunity came and arose. It was a great one to come down here and check it out. I met everybody. I loved it. The environment is great. The sun is nice. It’s great to be in South Florida.”
Mosley, of course, will be reunited in Miami with two-time All-Pro defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh. The two started the last eight games together last season in Detroit.
