Dolfan in England
0-2, the sixth time this has happened in the Dolphins history. Weve never gone better than 6-10 in all those seasons. So, nothing to lose now right?
Against Pittsburgh we played tough, and almost caused an upset. Today was a different story, it was a mess in all aspects of the game for the entire contest. It was rough viewing but we have to deal with it, we lost, nothing we can do now.
The thing is, no-one knows what the season will bring. Who would have thought the Steelers would get to the Superbowl last season, let alone win the thing, but the storyline was there for them to do it - Bettis.
So, have we our own story? What about this for an idea...
Daunte Culpepper, injures himself in 05, spends months attempting to get back to footballing shape. He gets traded to his CHILDHOOD TEAM the Miami Dolphins and word gets round he could start week one. He does, and ok, the stuggles are there and in the first two weeks he has been poor. But soon the tides will turn and Culpepper starts to catch fire and we head into the Vikings game and C-Pep plas his heart out and leads us to the win. Thats just another chapter in the story.
The season draws to a close and the Phins do what they have to do to get to the play-offs ending in a SuperBowl in MIAMI.
Could happen? The fairytale is there to be told, just have to see if its our time for the reading. One things for sure, optimism isnt a bad thing at the moment.
Head up Fins fans, its horrible at the moment, but who knows where we will be come play-off time. The future is unwritten, the past is behind us. Lets Go Dolphins!!
