Despite our loss to the Jets - I was impressed with the following...
* It looks like we have a pretty good QB in Gus. I was impressed with his poise, his throws, his accuracy, and his overall command of the offense. Chambers, Boston, Brown, and Morris all missed passes thrown to them. It was their fault, not Frerrote's.
* Our D looks solid. Unfortunately, we need to be better at stopping the run. Martin got some big runs from us - and our friggin DB's need to play more agressive. This will improve over time
* Welker, as always, is amazing
* The thing that killed us today was penalties and time of possession. The Jets had the ball for almost twice the amount that we did - and in the end, that will win you football games.
I have no doubt that when they come to our house, the result will be a LOT different AND in our favor.
