Forget that we havent won a Superbowl since computers were invented, haven't had a qb since Marino, forget that we suck every year but we used to think we had a shot.... YOU KNOW WHAT REALLY PISSES ME OFF ABOUT THIS ORGANIZATION IS THEY THINK THE FANS ARE STUPID AND WILL SUPPORT AND GIVE THEM MONEY REGARDLESS :3w:. You get everyone's hopes up with free agency and Manning and Gruden and Cowher and so on, but the truth is that Ross if frugal with this team and he has not spent the money to make it a better team which is the reason we don't have a star qb or premium head coach and has been reluctant to get rid of Ireland. We are rebuilding thru the draft and will have to eat this ****e till who knows when.... F/U Ross

I refuse to believe we’re in rebuilding mode. We have a team with a good blend of young and veteran players. And on face value, we’re pursuing Manning. That is most definitely not a rebuilding move. Now if we fail to land Manning or Flynn perhaps the Dolphins draft Tannehill and make a few roster moves with the future in mind. But why do it now?

we are about 4 or 5 players away from being in annual contention (unfortunately QB is on that list). the roster is solid in most areas. getting rid of the BM (pun intended) for two 3rds is no signal of any "rebuilding," and something that absolutely had to be done. this team is being molded in philbin's image. nobody lied to anybody. so enjoy the ride, or pick another team to root for. i know everyone is frustrated that we didn't keep brandon marshall, sign peyton manning, sign mario williams, fire jeff ireland, assassinate stephen ross and get the ghost of vince lombardi to own the team, all in the first day and a half of free agency, but hey, suck it.

This! And with a Packers philosophy in play. Sounds like our goal is to get a ton of draft picks and trade players we don't see as the right fit for that Packers "make up or culture" (Marshall, possibly S. Smith.).

Kinda like the idea....just need to realize we're in a building process STILL.

Reality is we don't get Manning or for some, Flynn (whom I don't want), we should rebuild through the draft. Given that normally it will take 3-4 years before we see high level results from a rookie class we should look at what type of value our better vets can bring. Wake, Long, Fasano, Dansby, etc should all be shopped to see if we can get excellent value AND I don't mean two bits like we got for Marshall. If we are rebuilding...DO IT.

We clearly have no intention of trying to win with Free Agents as one after another positions of need get signed by other teams. Use what chips we have to get draft picks as a lot of these vets will digress in the 3-4 years it takes before we are competitive. I F'ing hate this idea. I hate it. But if that's how the FO is going to go, then stop dicking around already and commit to it.
