I've been saying it for years, he's the cancer to the team. There is no OB curse, its the Blockbuster curse. Takes over the team from 1990-1993, then the Fins lose in the AFC Championship, go through the Jimmy debacle, then the Wanny/Saban/Cam days, and overall chokes in December and medicority.

Maybe the Dolphins are winning now because someone other then Huizenga is in control now? ;)
 
I dont believe he was ever in control. I always thought Wayne to be a 'hands off' kinda owner.

I've been saying this for years...Wayne has always been the problem.
Luckly,for us Bill Parcells lives in Fla.so it was a better situation than
Atlanta to oversee.
Everbody here thinks Wayne is just a great old owner,that money is
no object.Money is always a object...thats how they became billionaires.
A NFL team always makes money..win or lose.
Look what he did to the Marlins.
 
Ya you leave out Sparano, Tuna, Chad, Jake Long, the resurgence of Joey Porter etc. etc....probably slightly more impactful then Waynes selling.
 
Wayne doenst konw what hes doing. He lieks the game but he doesnt know HOW the game works. he had a big part in it as well.

Al Davis can get his team to the super bowl and you think Wayne is a cancer?

I would take our owner over jones and davis every time- and most coaches and GMS worth anything would do the same thing.

Problem is he didnt know the in's and out's of the game enough to pick the right man to run the team. (about 90 percent of the league never gets the right man either)

And in his quest to find the right man he was screwed over by a few con-men that called themselves football guys but in reality they were nothing more than pretenders hoping no one would notice their incompentance until it was too late.

We have to be thankful that he GOT IT RIGHT when it counted. We have to thank him for what we have now.

Mr. H has done nothing but put his heart and soul into this team, you are aware that Parcells would be with the Falcons right now if it wasn't for Wayne, right? Parcells came to Miami simply because of the respect he has for Mr. H. He has been one of the best owners in the NFL and spares no expense when it comes to helping Miami win.

I am lucky enough to see Mr. H on a daily basis, and there is no one I want to win more than him. I respect him very much and have seen first hand his desire to see Miami suceed. I couldn't be sadder to see him sell the team, ESPECIALLY when we are starting to win. Win because of the Tuna, the man WAYNE put in place.

Terrible tread.
 
All the owners of professional sports teams around the world only care about how much money they are making period lol fans never get this.

Maybe Ross can get in good with Goodell and we'll be set for the next decade or two
