Notre Dame lands top Corner :)

I bet Pitsburgh would of got him if they didn't suck so bad this year! I guess now Pitsburgh fans are really going to hate Wanny!

I expect Notre Dame to become one of the elite teams in collage football like they used to be.

There are going to be at least 4, probably more NFL head coaching jobs open next year, if a team offers Charlie $5 mill a year (and they might now with the way he turned around ND)......I see him bolting.

Charlie wasn't ND's first choice. He won't forget and never will forget that. If KC, Minnesota, Seattle, Oakland, or one of those teams offer Charlie $5+ mill a year, he won't stay at ND.

$5+ mill a year is tough to turn down though. Im not saying he will leave, in fact I think he stays. I'm saying I wouldn't be shocked if he did.

ND can come close to matching the 5mill, but I dont think we'll have to. I can see Weis leaving, but not after 1 year. He might not have been ND's first choice, but it isnt like we did a huge long extensive search and settled on him. We went after Meyer, a top coach w/ ties to ND first.

Careful... I remember people making the same statement in Willingham's first 6 games...
