Shades of 1985, only this time the game is in Chicago. With the Bears soft schedule ahead the next few weeks, I expect them to possibly be the only undefeated team remaining when hopefully the 3-4 Dolphins come off of their bye week.

This game could have huge implications, with the biggest being Miami's desire to protect the coveted undefeated season by the 1972 Dolphins. Also, another win could get us to 4-4 with two home games upcoming against the Chiefs and Vikings.

I don't want to get to far ahead of myself here, but I'm starting to think of the possibility that this could really happen. The Dolphins players, fans, coaches, and alumni would be so fired up for this game...

I'd like to see it happen with us knocking them off!! I know it's a tall order considering how dominant the Bears are right now, but remember 1985!!!

I think you should think about beating the jets first.

In 1985 we were a SB contender with Dan Marino at QB. We're not beating them in Chicago with this sad sack crew.

ya im going to this game....not sure if i want to wear any dolphins gear thou....maybe where my rex grossman florida jersey...its the best of both worlds then.

Anybody who thinks this team has a shot of beating those Bears in Chicago obviously has not watched either team at all this season. I can't believe that Lovie Smith has turned that program around that much and that fast.

Nobody on our team has any connection to that 1972 team. Remember Shula was the coach. I doubt Saban cares about the past as much as he does the present. I know anything can happen, but.... I predict we lose 24- 3.:shakeno:

I don't care how bad of a football team we currently are. There is no way there is an undefeated team in the NFL this year, it will not happen. I think emotion will be too high for that to happen. I still believe this team can turn it around, the packers did in 2004. We have to eliminate the mistakes, things bad football teams do, we showed promise against new england. we still can be a good team.

but yeah, for christ sake, we need to beat the jets first.

I have faith in the Dolphins... but come on. The Bears slaughtered the Seahawks 37-6. No reason that it won't happen with the Dolphins.
