Now that all the top WR's are off the market please explain to me the backup plan?

So esentially, we are in a constant rebuilding mode. We trade away playmakers for 3 round picks and hope someone steps up?

Playmakers that are on the wrong side of their career, yes.... Isn't Marshall heading into his 7'th year now? Players don't last that long in the NFL..... Why keep him for 2-3 more years and diminish his value to a single 4'th rounder? Or worse?

What are we going to do in those 2 years?? Go 8-8, maybe 9-7. At best we could sneak into the playoffs I guess if we keep Marshall. I don't see him being the reason we go to a championship game. It hurts to think about it I know, but to me it seems like the smart move overall for the team.

Of course if Ross wants to actually put people in the seats, he better have something big planned for draft time / end of free agency

What I don't understand is, how is it possible that 99.9% of Dolphins fans, and hell, the sports community completely disagree with the Dolphins side of this trade, yet the two guys who actually have the authority in the front office to do such a thing think it's a good idea? Did we find the only two guys in all of sports who are complete morons? This entire website can't be wrong when we all agree that this is a horrible trade. Something is obviously wrong with our front office. Reminds me of when we traded a 2nd rounder for A.J. Feeley and a 3rd for Lamar Gordon. Granted, that was a lot worse than this, but still this is horrible. This website and the sports world in general reacted the same exact way to those trades and we were right. Completely mind boggling.
