Resigning Brent Grimes. I've said it before and so have others. Grimes is obviously talented, and he could be had cheaper now than if he hits the free agent market.

This will tell a lot about Ireland and his dedication to improve now that he knows he won't be fired. You don't have to be a genius talent evaluator to see Brent Grimes is a baller.

Question is though, does Grimes want to talk now or test the market. To keep him we may have to tag him.

I mean, who doesn't think Ireland knows already how important Grimes is? I'm guessing he probably knows something.

Jeff Ireland sucks. He's not guaranteed to come back next year, that's still up in the air and to be determined by Mr. Ross at the end of this season.

I'm happy with the direction in which the team is headed and Ireland does deserve some credit for that. In my opinion most of the credit for our improvement belongs to Coach Philbin. Ever since he's gotten here we have been a better team, a more organized and competitive team. He wins in spite of Jeff Ireland. We were a couple missed field goals from the playoffs in his first year with only 1 good receiver. Imagine where we would be this year if Ireland would have not been so arrogant and actually addressed the offensive line in the offseason, particularly LT which just about anyone with any football knowledge knew was a liability coming into the season. Instead he waits until mid season when it was obvious that his lack of action was costing us games. All the accumulated sacks might have cost us the #2 seed this year. Having said that, if Ireland does indeed return his first move should be....FIX THE ****ING OFFENSIVE LINE ALREADY!

h8ters will hate. and thats about it.

Tannehill. Your new Franchise QB

If only it were so simple...there's a reason you seldom see in season extensions for impending FA's. There's no incentive on the players side in most cases to not at least wait it out and see what the market's like. If Ireland doesn't sign him before the end of the season (which is pretty much a given) it doesn't say anything about him. I'm pretty confident Grimes will be our top priority, and we should measure Jeff on the guys he values most when the offseason rolls around.

Tag Grimes but negotiate a 2-3 year deal out of it. Resign Starks and/or Soliai. Resign Clay. Try to get Patterson to take a one year. One OL out of FA. Figure out FS.

Yeah we could have done something preseason as soon as we saw Grimes running around like his old self but there is very little value in trying to negotiate anything at this point in the season, for either side.

Resign Grimes, Starks or Soliai, Patterson (if we can get him healthy) find couple of offensive lineman, then in thedraft get O lineman and a tight end. Who knows what Tannehill could do with another second to throw, before being crushed by the pass rush.

trade 2nd and 3rd round picks for players cause god knows we will screw it up

1. Figure out what to do with Martin, Trade him, cut him....whatever it is....do not allow him back in these facilities..

2. Resign Grimes, Soliei, Jerry, McKinnie and Clemons...work out a two year deal with Patterson.

3. Sign At least 3 lineman (one of them top tier)

4. Draft LB, Seem TE, and OL.
