Now that it's over, what were you yelling on that last play?

I mumbled to myself that the WR at the top was not set, then I just watched in total disbelief. I saw the pass by Ben but thought it was too close for them to overturn. I looked for flags and when I didn't see any I started thinking ahead to how hard it was going to be to live this one down. At some point I just start expecting bad things to happen. Even after they said he stepped out of bounds I still was waiting for something else bad to happen that would give them a chance.

As for the pass, don't look at the ball in the air, that is an optical illusion, look at where on the field the ball is when it is released (33 and a half) and where it is caught (33 and half, maybe another 6 inches) but it is REALLY close. Remember it isn't where Ben's feet are but where the ball is released. It is VERY close. I think if I had been doing the game and had to make the call from the two or three views I have seen, there wasn't enough evidence to overturn. If it had been ruled a forward lateral I wouldn't have been able to overturn that either. It was just VERY close IMHO.
 
Best thread ever. I'm laughing my ass off. That was the worst experience ever. I was also yelling forward pass and screaming WTF a 1000 times. Thank the lord he went out of bounds.

I was yelling 'No f***ing way Dolphins!!!' Happy for the win but if I were Joe Philbin I'd be ripping the defense a new A hole. We won because he stepped out of bounds. Unreal!
 
I think I as boarding on divorce court about the time the football went flying out of my hands..
 
I wasn't yelling. Just standing up and staring in disbelief and dumbfounded as my heart was popping out my chest and pulse rate was 300. Tears were getting ready to flow!! I couldn't speak or move!!! I was shaking so could barely type profanities on here!!

Something to the effect of "That was a f...g forward pass....BS....tackle the sum b...h!!!" until the goofball stepped out of bounds.
 
Time seemed to stop or go into slow motion....it's like when I hit a patch of ice going down a steep hill and was totally helpless and not wanting to look, but I avoided a wreck and so did the Phins.
 
Today is my birthday so the cake I was eating got launched as I was screaming nooooooo!!! Get him. Get him. Forward lateral. I'll clean it up. No. Get him. Why. Please don't do this. Stop.

We left after the 4th down conversion was stopped.

I didn't want to, but I was threatened with "How much is a cab ride home to Wheeling going to run you?"



I knew what we were capable of doing, & tried to tell them, but they were adamant & discouraged. They would've left me. :idk:



Worked out. I still sang the whole way home. :)

I was watching at a sports bar and this play and Minnesota's screw up and the Cheatriots cheating all happened within five minutes of each other. I was totally spent.
