Now That Sunday's Game Has Sunk In...

Let's get something straight about the o-line. It is what it is. These are the same guys that have been here since the first mini-camp. They are not going to get significantly better. Yes, Mac will help some, and some games will be better than others. But, you heard it here first: We will see Fiedler again this year because these guys are going to get AJ killed.

The sting has started to wear off, but the benefit of time has brought zero clarity.

I still don't know what to expect from or think of, this team. Looks for all the world like we're going to be awful and lack a QB, O-line and leadership from the head coach.

But this is the NFL...

and crazy things happen every season, with just about every team. You CANNOT say with any certainty that you know what to expect.

I don't think we'll be any better than 7-9...

but I can't help but feel that with some time for everyone to get into rhythm and the offesnsive guys to learn eachothers tendencies (and names...) we can be pretty competetive over the last 3/4 of the season. I really, really hope so.

I do not see the oline and the offense playing this poorly for very much longer.. The problems with this offense is too visible and I do believe Dave will start giving out ultimatums.. starting with the coaches and working its way down to the players.. I foresee a long hard week of practice and I think you will see a drastic improvement this week.. the only question I have is will it be drastic enough to get a win...
You know what, that is the first time i wholeheartedly agree with you.

Dave DID give an ultimatum threatening to bench repeat offenders in penalties and TOs.
