Now that the CBA is done. How far under the cap are we?

Enough to offer Drew Brees a shiny nickel to play for us thats for sure

more than 10 mil when Gus is let go

I think Saban will have Gus restructure and keep him as a back-up now that the deal is in place.

Realisticly, we can have anywhere between $15-20 million by releasing Gus, and restructuring Carter, Taylor and Thomas. We are in GREAT shape now. :D

yes we are, oh man i feel like a girl i wanted really bad said yes to a date, all these butterflies in my stomach are gone...... :D

we're in pretty good shape. We went from only being able to get Brees, to being able to make a run at a couple other guys sadly, not Bentley:boohoo:

WTF is wrong with me?!? I'm a Michigan fan, and I want Bentley on this team badly... on the other hand, I really wanted Hutchinson to come here to... All is right with the world

this is all good news now we can focus our efforts on Free agency and then the draft insted of this nonsense:dolphins:

What about that 9 Million dollar cap charge?

Last week's moves would have put us already under the cap but for the cap charge. With the extra breathing room from the new CBA, we'll be back under, plus we'll have the flexibility to restructure contracts to give us additional room.

Did the cap go from $94 to $104 Million?....they had us at $21 million over before we cut Tebucky, Seau, Howard. I think we should be ok.

I think like $7 million under. :D

I hate to disagree with you Nublar but I believe that we are more that 7 million under more close to 8 or 9 million. Plus if we cut Gus we will be all set to sign Brees, Mawae and Adams....along with Ashworth.
