Who would be the consensus choice for a free agent vet? It's been suggested that the Fins go that route to help stablize the QB position going into next year.

I wouldn't rule out Trent's return. I believe there was an article in the Palm Beach Post, where it said that Trent could return at a reduced salary.

I would say I that I would be fairly surprised if Lemon was still with the team this year. But I would have no clue who would be now that Green is gone, maybe Rex Grossman?? Chad Pennington if he's cut and thats a good if?? I have no idea.

I was wondering the same thing. I would have believed Trent would stay and Cleo move through the wickets on his way out due to his UFA status...

Maybe we wait for some other cuts to take place. Is there a deadline of sorts?

Actually I think I remember an article a month ago where Culpepper said he wouldn't mind coming back to the Dolphins. I really hope we don't go down that route again though.

Don't rule out Green yet. Looks like Parcells is interested in his return, and this was just for salary sake. Also, depending upon Drs. orders, Green's agent said he'd like to return. He'd make a good mentor to Beck, since they've hit it off since last year. Parcells looks to be tapping into that, possibility.

Come on now....Trent Green is gone...and I highly doubt he'll be back even if he played for a bag a peanuts.
If the idea was for him to come back at a cheaper price...the Dolphins would have not released him so soon and tried to work that out...he wasn't released for money...the guy is what 38...and lost the last two seasons for concussions....he's done.
