Now that we know....NOW what?

Why do people keep mentioning Billick? Its already known that he isn't a candidate. Ross dislikes him.

Could we go the college coach route next?
 
I don't think the next step matters all that much. Has the Dolphins organization shown that they have any idea what they're doing? What's wrong with this team runs deeper than the next coach. The next step doesn't matter much when you're in quicksand. It's not going to work.
 
Carmichael or Chud -- I want an OC to revolutionize our offense -- so Zimmer is out -- Philbin I have questions about since his son just died... his heart may not be in it going forward... because tragedies can do that to you.
 
From what other posters on Finheaven have said about Zimmer and his ability to lead men and run a very sound defensive scheme, I figure he's the guy that gets the call to come coach the Dolphins ... Lets face it, Ireland is well thought of by Ross and Peterson, even Fisher had good things to say about Ireland, and it seems that Ross likes HIS GM to have complete control ... We can all speculate how much control BP took from Ireland when he was here and how much BP contributed to several bad draft choices ... Lets see what happens, Ireland and Zimmer know eachother; so perhaps this is the way to go from here?
