I've been a sports fan for 22 years. In that time I've seen the Cubs go to their conference/league championship game/series twice. I've never seen the Dolphins do that.

Your just not old enough. We went to the Superbowl 3 times in the 70's and twice in the 80's. Lots of playoffs during the Marino years.....

Been a lot of bad football since then.

As a 55 year-old life-long Cubs fan, I can state that OP statement is ridiculous. The last time the Cubs won the championship was the year my grandfather came to America....the last time the Dolphins won was the year of my Bar Mitzvah. The Dolphins have been to two Super Bowls since, and until about 15 years ago were perennial contenders; meanwhile the Cubs have only seriously been close to a championship twice in the last 70 years.

Even Lions and Browns fans have suffered much more than us Fin fans....
