Nowitzki to be named MVP

I don't really like it. I don't think he's the reason why they won 67 games. The entire Mavs team is so deep and good, that I don't think the 1 point per game and 1 assist per game difference in his career statistics made the Mavs as dominant as they were in the regular season.

My guess, is that they looked at the Wins, and just picked the star and named him MVP.
 
Nash should have won it(again). No one in this game dominates and helps his team the way he does. Kobe should be 2nd up.
 
Be interesting to see what he has to say at the presser.Maybe he wont accept it.Maybe he does.He has to wonder if he really deserves it.

Nash is incredible, but I want to see him on a team that doesn't have All-Stars around him. He didn't make Amare or Marion the All-Stars that they are.

All things considered the MVP award needs some redefining. No one can ever decide if it's truly the player that is Most Valuable to his team (they'd be dead without him) or the best player on the best team, or.....whatever.

The Suns would make the Playoffs without Nash (4-5th seed?), the Mavs without Dirk (5-7th seed?). How bout the Lakers without Kobe? Yikes, lottery time boys!
