“Carmelo was pulled over late Sunday night on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol,†said Anthony’s lawyer Dan Recht in a statement. “He cooperated by consenting to a blood test, the results of which will not be available for approximately two weeks. There was no accident and no one was hurt.
“Like anyone in a similar situation, Carmelo has to wait for the results of his blood test. He regrets putting himself in this situation.â€

Stupid but glad he's okay. Can't be risking drinking and driving though, you have a long career ahead of you.
 
Detective Sharon Hahn said Anthony, who was alone in the car, failed a series of sobriety tests. He was ticketed and released at the scene, but Hahn did not know how he got home. Denver police don't jail DUI suspects and Anthony was no exception, Hahn said.

Wonder if the NBA will just brush it under the rug like when he got caught with Marijuana in his car while driving??
 
Like any other celeb, he gets a fine and a slap on the wrist. Denver won't suspend him b/c they need him to make the playoffs.
 
I wonder why LaLa let's her man stay out to 4 am for? I guess he doesn't have enough cash to call a cab? What a dope.

Yeah i guess you're right. Anthony's not a thug, he's just a million dollar athlete who drinks and drives. Oh and he carries Marijuana around with him, and appears in videos with known DC drug felons, and has friends who are also convicts. Not to mention the brawl he started with the Knicks. I guess those aren't thuglike enough for you?
 
definitely not a model citizen. He can do what ever he wants as long as he doesnt harm anyone IMO. Im surprise they just let him walk without putting him jail for the night.
