Leadership. With a winning organization like the Pats, he has to know that having leaders on and off the field are vital to the success of a team. If he signs with us, I think that'll be his best asset

I hope it's not. I hope his best asset is drafting studs and getting great free agents to play here

Now give me 100 burpees

He has to know how Kraft influences officials and the league and needs to teach the Dolphins to be able to do the same.

He's a well rounded candidate with a lot of experience under a highly successful man, We need some of that down here and it seems like the best gamble of what we have to choose from.

But what if Aponte and Philbin don't like him? This has to be an uncomfortable situation going in for any GM, if the pair were responsible for ousting Ireland.

He can see the prospects coming.:bugeye:

He is a humble guy. If they dont like him, it probly says more about Joe and Dawn more than it says about him.

Jason Licht was from a winning organization in New England, what was wrong with him? And he had more experience.

Nothing........Licht wasn't in New England near as long as he bounced around a lot more...but Licht clearly wasn't patient enough to wait for the Miami process and grabbed the sure thing in Tampa as it was the only other opening this year.

We strengthen the Fins and weaken the Patriots. Caserio is easy an upgrade over Ireland. That is all I can ask for.

From a power standpoint, Pats coach Bill Belichick runs the operation and has the final say on all matters. Caserio orchestrates trade discussions, free agency negotiations and scouting assignments, but the ultimate decision comes from Belichick, and everyone in the league knows it.

After Floyd Reese left the organization last year, Caserio took over more responsibilities in dealing with agents, so he is still raw from that perspective. Caserio is considered bright, full of potential and straightforward, which people respect, but the 38-year-old has shown his inexperience compared to seasoned veterans.

1. Understands the value of the Oline and Dline -> and protecting one of the games best QBs -> no Oline no running game and no play action to mess up the D

From a year away with those Eyes

I don't think either of them have anything more to do with that than maybe being asked their opinion.

The power structure does not involve those TWO when it comes to the GM.

Let's be honest here, Ireland outed himself.
