Would anyone here be interested in trading Miami's 1st round pick to Cleveland for their two second round selections? The Browns have a ton of picks and can afford to consolidate the two second round picks and Miami could really address some of its needs with 3 2nd round picks and a late 3rd. Seems like a win/win... especially if the Browns want another first round pick to send to the Patriots for Goroppolo. The Browns could keep their early pick and then trade the 22 pick to New England and maybe even sweeten that deal with a future conditional pick. So actually each of the three teams could really come out winners. Seems like there could still be several de's and linebackers for Miami to consider in the 2nd round.

I think they may give up the mother load for Garopolo but let's get what we can. I want to grab a guy at 22 unless someone in need isn't there. I think there will be nice options avail to us. btw, **** helping the Pats in any way, shape or form.

I'd entertain it if Barnett and Cunningham were gone. Not trader mike's style though.

I actually think this is the year tbum trades down. Either way it takes two to tango. Good luck!

Why not? Do you really like an option you think Miami could get at 22 or do you not like the 2nd round options? Is the drop of in talent from the 22nd pick to the 33rd so great that you would pass on gaining the 52rd pick?

I think Tannenbum will make some kind of expensive acquisition be it draft picks or $$$. It's his style and I don't think he has enough self control to not do something big. I can only hope Gase has some medicating influence on him to counteract any horse s hit thoughts.

The whole notion of trading down is meh.

Get as many top 50 guys as you can and hope a few pan out.

Draft middle draft guys and deeming them "saviors" is why bad teams stay bad.

But is moving down 11 spots really taking you out of good prospects to middle draft guys? If that's the case and 2nd round picks have so little value than why do people get so upset if we trade one? I guess I was looking at from Miami going from having one pick in the top 50 and one in the 50 to 60 range to having one in the top 50 and two in the 50 to 60 range. Especially with the depth in the de and linebacker pool in the draft.

I think a reasonable argument can be made, especially with the depth of defense players in this draft. It comes down to several moving parts, who is there, who is interested in making the trade up etc. could definitely see it as a possibility.

If your 'targeted' player is there though at 22 you probably pull the trigger.

The only way I'd consider trading down this early is to take those picks and keep trading down and not stop trading down until we own every single pick in the 7th round.

I truly doubt Garappolo is going anywhere. Like Rodgers was to Favre, he's the next QB waiting in the wings for BB.

I was thinking...

Patriots win: Getting a first and maybe a conditional 2018 2nd or 3rd round pick.
Browns win: Keep the numer one overall pick and get their qb.
Dolphins win: With three second round picks to address de and lb needs. Could use the 3rd round pick on a corner or guard. Maybe Hasson Riddick, Zack Cunningham or Jarrd Davis and Jordan Willis in the 2nd and Corn Elder or Dorian Johnson in the 3rd.
