What's the deal here? NYJ & NYG making a huge splash in free agency while we do little to nothing! Unreal how the Giants, already a stocked and talented team, signed 3 premier defenders this weekend while the Jets signed 2 even after their huge splash made last year in free agency. Oh yeah and by the way A. Goodman to the Broncos today, what are we re-rebuilding? Frustrating!:boohoo:

We re-signed most of our players, upgraded Hill's spot with Wilson, and got some depth along the line.

It's not like Free Agency ends tomorrow, these things tend to drag out.

I'm not really worried. I'd have liked to have kept Goodman, but not at the price he signed with Denver at.

Not a big deal..The Jets made a HUGE splash last year..where did it get them? Patience..little by little
 
didnt the jets do the exact same thing last year. o yeah they did and we were still better then them
 
The Jets made an enormous 'splash' in free agency last year, while our front office quietly did what they needed to. I think that worked out pretty well for us.

I'm gonna give them the benefit of the doubt...I think they know better than anyone on this board.

wow. Cry and complain more why don't you. Didn't know everyone here knew the business in football that much, guess we should have you as our coach/gm/vp?

The office knows what they are doing/doing it for the best of the team. Thats why they are the ones in charge and not you.

Good. The Jets brought in everyone from FA last year, and we kicked the living crap out of them. We would have beat them twice if Penny had been more in tune with the offense during the first game. The Redskins always go buckwild in FA and look at the ****show they're rocking.
 
Last I checked we kicked the Jets butts. I'd rather beat them on the field with our group of guys (including potential draftees and a solid free agent pickup or two) than overpaying for some me-first big name stars who will be asking for an even bigger contract in the next two seasons.

Jets signed a bunch of high profile/expensive free agents last year.....and where did they finish?
 
Who is the Jet's quarterback? Enough said.
 
Signing high priced free agents every year doesn't automatcally make you winners. Just ask the Jets and Redskins. Who cares about what the New York teams are doing? Especially the Giants, they are in a totally different conference.
 
Ummmm, what the Giants do has NO bearing on what the Miami Dolphins are doing. Maybe you can argue the Jets moves effect the Dolphins, but not the Giants.

Thats just ridiculous to even say. You're getting caught up in football talk because of where you live. Gotta tune it out. I live in Philly and I just tune out the Eagles free agency talk. Now when they are talking football during the actual season...it annoys me. But certainly not now.
