Cris Collinsworth, an NFL Network analyst, said the shotgun wedding of Pennington and the Dolphins had turned into one of the league’s best stories of 2008.
“The minute you heard it, it was like, that fits,” Collinsworth said in a telephone interview. “He has dug them out of a hole. Is it fun to watch? Yeah. Am I rooting for Chad a little bit? Yeah.”
 
I damn sure hope he can keep his emotions in check long enough to have a good performance. I'm sure he's eager for revenge. Hopefully not to the point where it gets him unfocused.
 
That was real good article about Chad. From the New York Times no less! I guess a bunch of people in New York are starting to regret losing Chad now. :chuckle:

Chad must have made a real good impression on the Jets fans in New York ... kind of like how we feel about Jason Taylor and Zach Thomas. I bet Jets fans really freak out a bit when they hear that Chad has the #2 Passer Rating in the NFL. It's hard for Dolphins fans to believe it too. The Dolphins have one of THE best QBs in the NFL. Ya gotta pinch yourself to make sure you're not dreaming. It's been a long time since we've had a QB this good. Since you know who ... the legendary Dan Marino. Mr. Dolphin.

Chad has got to be feeling good this week. Nothing like getting knocked off the horse and getting right back on it and helping lead a young, new team to a LOT more victories this year than we were "supposed to" win. This is incredible when you think about how bleak things looked for Dolphins football at this time last year.

In case you haven't read it yet, here's another really good article about the Dolphins from the Miami Herald. In the past few years, the Miami sports writers aren't used to writing a lot of positive articles about the Dolphins. They don't know what to do with themselves probably. I love it. I hope to read a bunch of them in the next month or so ... in the PLAYOFFS! :woohoo:

I was almost brought to tears by it.

Chad's reception here wasn't all that warm by many. But I knew on day one, we were getting a pretty classy dude. I just hope he stays a Dolphin for a very long time...player, coach, owner...i dont care!
