Probably old news, but the Sunday NYT (9/4) had their write-up of how they see things going this season. For the AFC East they had:

New England
New York
Miami
Buffalo

They didn't go in to great detail, but I did find it interesting that they picked the Bills to finish last (although it really is tough this year to pick the loser). They pointed out the fact that the AFC East is brutal. Picked NE over ATL for the Super Bowl.

In reference to AJ vs. GF, "No matter who wins the job, it may not be much of an improvement." A sentiment shared by many here in the forums :)

Personally I've predicted the Bills to take a step backward. My buddy Mark who writes Bills commentary has been telling me all along they did nothing to improve the pass protection so Losman is going to get killed, Losman himself is young and has happy feet where he's going to start playing playground ball out there when the pocket breaks down and he'll get injured early because of it, says the defensive stats last year were misleading, and that Willis McGahee's ("the injured one") stats were also misleading and there is a possibility that he'll pull a William Green.

He sees Buffalo as like a 5 or 6 win team.

Mark is generally pretty good in scouting that team, he correctly predicted they wouldn't do anything when they got Drew, pointed out Drews faults before Drew even hit the field and each prediction came true. I watched Buffalo's last 2 preseason games and JP wasn't that sharp, he does have happy feet, and the OL is not, and all the bill's fans who'll disagree, but know in their hearts, I'm right, their OL is not that good. I was really surprise that they didn't get a good LT to replace Jennings, they really should have gone after Shelton. Any injuries to the starting OL, will really set them back in like of having what is really a rookie QB. Basically their team this year is like our team last year, but a little better in the fact that their OL has played together a little longer, but that's negated by the 2nd year|rookie QB.

Well neither of us is going to do much this year and at least they are developing a QB ours is still waiting to be drafted in 5 years.

i just don't fear mcgahee. i don't know hes just one gay i haven't seen all that much in. I really believe letting henry go wasn't a smart move. They're receivers are alright, but receivers are a refelction of their QB. I don't see them falling behind. but i don't see them excelling either.

No chance you finish higher then the Bills.

I almost feel bad for you guys....almost;)
