We need to be alot more balanced offensivly. We are passing way to much considering the players we have at qb and considering our RBs. We need to cut Howard and replace him with anyone available. Gus needs the games to be taken off of his shoulders and his arm. Right now we are trying to make Gus win us games which is not going to happen. He can be a good enough QB if we dont make him throw the ball on every down. He seems to make alright decisions when it comes to taking sacks and throwing the ball away. We should take the occasional shot down field not a shot every time we have the ball. Ronnie needs 20+ touches a game and Ricky needs 10+. We need to be less obvious on Blitzes and disguise them better. You can tell every time we are about to blitz. There is nothing wrong with bringing alot of blitzes but you have to disguise some of them. We need to find a way to get the ball into Welkers hand more often as well. And most of all we need to just WIN.

Why call him a dummy? he's right. You have to build through the draft. This team is full of players that other teams got rid of like tebucky jones, vonnie holliday, mcintosh, jeno james, reggie howard, etc. It's not a good idea to build a team around players that other teams didn't think it was necessary to keep, that's why you build through the draft. This teams future was thrown away during the wanny-spielman regime and it's going to take a while to have a good team again. But it's a good thing we have have Saban and Mueller because thery're rebuilding.We have had what looks like a solid draft so far and as long as we keep having solid drafts and a real QB this franchise will be where we once were. But this roster wont exactly be "gutted" but the players we currently have like for example tebucky, holliday, etc are just there temporarily because we don't have anyone else, so until we draft someone to take their spot, we can't replace them.fin4life2 said:

Try watching some of the games. We have the players? Yet they go 4-12 and now 2-4? How long does it take to learn to play together?
Most important part of a football team is the OL. Ours stinks. Need new players.
Need new QB.
Need new secondary.
Our defense is not getting the job done, teams are rushing all over us. Its easy to pass on us with Reggie Howard playing.
Yeah we have the players. Sure.
And yeah, if we had an alien entity (EBE) disguised as a Miami Dolphin, it sure would help!

your wrong. we have talent. we stay in games and choke at the end. this can change next week with the right coaching. something like cutting heath evans or starting sage could be a spark. look at it like this. tampa bay we were very much in the game until gus fumbles and they return the td. buffalo we should have won but ronnie fumbles. kansas city we pulled within one and then the defense collapses. our defense has not helped us. carolina they gave up dumb touchdowns to steve smith, we should have lost that game too if schulters doesnt get that pick. but thats football, games go like that. if ronnie doesnt fumble and were 3 and 3 tied in first, you people arent taking about dismantle the team. if we win next week and new england and buffalo lose, were all tied at the top. who do we ae thats talented
-offense - chambers, mcmichael, booker (yes he is, former probowler and just needs a qb) welker (no matter what you say hes talented. hes like a dante hall. clutch reciever and has heart) ronnie brown, ricky (just needs to get back in playing shape) CLEO LEMON-watch for this guy
defense- taylor, thomas, crowder, madison, holliday, carter, roth, schulters, man weve got some real talented defesive players but were hurting at cornerback and strong safety. and by the way the offensive line is much better than last year, was doing really good until the tampa game, a lot of that is gus just completely sucking. if gus hits wide open recievers in the end zone we end up 21 14 over kansas city after ronnies run in the third. then we can game plan differently and maybe win. but in a division wherewere better than the jets and the bills how do you give up already?

I mean its getting pretty hard to watch the Fins with Frerotte missing wide open receivers all game.

I never said start all rookies. I shouldnt have said "gut the roster" I am just pissed about how we are playing. Looked like they didnt even show up against KC. But we do need to build through the draft.
That has been a problem with the Fins through the 80's and 90's. We never drafted high even though we had average teams because Marino won games by himself. (Mainly 1986-1989) Maybe we needed a year or 2 like this so we can build ourselves back up again. I dont know.
