O-LIINE from scrapheap to elite

despite the fact that some knotheads are wanting to trade down that is unrealistic right now because noboddy wants to trade with us so a trade up is the only way we can get a stud player in rd 1 . i would hope we can jemarcus russell but that is so unrealistic that i am now getting on the te soles bandwagon and this kid can play if not oslen then please get meachem or jarrett . as far as qaurterbacks go i like kolb over stanton.

here is how i think we are going to draft.
rd 1 c kalil
rd 2 left tackle
rd 3 qb kolb
rd 4 dt ryan mcbean
rd 5 wr to named later
rd 7 a rb hopefully a playmaker

or we could go like this
rd 1 qb quinn
rd 2 c kalil
rd 3 a left tackle
rd 4 a wr
rd 5 lg corry hilliard
rd 7 wr d'juan woods (wishful thinking only)

we do need a te and a rb but iam drawing a blank there.

i like your 2nd choice, what happened to are other 2nd rd pick,we have no 5th rd pick and we have a th rd pick

You should research our draft picks before you post because what you have is not our draft picks.
one first
two second
one third
one forth
zero fifth
two sixth(may change depending on Wilkerson's buffet"

I don't think Thomas is worth moving up for either. I'd rather have CJ and Quinn. But there's the issue of Joe Staley, who I think is the better prospect. He's too much of a reach at 9 though he'd be a need, and he may be gone by our pick in the 2nd round (which I hope doesn't occur). Ugoh may be a decent alternative but he doesn't have the upside Staley has. We can stock up with Manuel Ramirez later at RG.

Forgot Ruben Brown was a FA and he'd be a good 1-2 year stopgap. Him or Mulitalo would be a great addition at OG. Kinney would be a nice veteran talent at TE.
 
Let me make sure I have this correct, you think we should draft Ryan Kalil with the 9th pick in the draft?
How is it that in your first scenario you have him going in the top ten of the first round and in your second scenario you don't have him going in the first round at all?
 
If I had to guess positon per round I would think something like this
1 ~ DB
2 ~ QB
2 ~ OT
3 ~ G/C
4 ~ TE
6 ~ WR
7 ~ LB
7 ~ OL

I left off the 2nd sixth round pick because it is looking more and more like we are not going to have it. And of course these are just guesses, who knows really how Mueller will go.
 
Draft

I am not really in favor of drafting up for joe thomas.. unless cam thinks he is absolutely that good.

It's just not in our best interest to trade up for anybody really.

theres no way we take kalil ninth overall.

And I don't think it is out of the realm of possibilty that we can find a partner to trade down with. there is 3-4 teams easy, that could possibly want our ninth pick. Nelson is a good prospect but is probably a reach at nine.

I am only interested in landry with the ninth at this point, if he is gone I am hoping we trade down. I don't think any of the WR are worthy of the ninth spot.

I dont want a DT with the ninth overall, we have a lot of DT on the roster now, unless they aren't going to be healthy.

CB... maybe but a reach as well IMO.

If we draft any more guards I hope that they play on the left side... I like how our right side played the tail end of last year, and I just don't want to mess with it.

quinn if he drops... landry or trade down. One of those three I think is what helps us the most.
