Hey i just checked everyone in our divison to see how many sacks each o-line has given up were on the botom with only 2

Jets have given up 9
Pats have given up 5
Bills have given up 7

Miami has given up only 2 ~!

Wow i dont belive it i guess Miracles do happen !
So dont say that they stink because there doing better than anyone else in our division !

well i think its a lot of coaching, not just houck but the playcalling, we know thats our weakness so you see a lot of quick routes and 3 step drops, WR screens, underneath throws, etc...

we've gameplanned to make sure that weakness isn't exploited... but as they get better i think we'll see a lot more downfield passing attempts..

It's amazing what a coach and gameplanning can do. It makes you think "how the hell did we win all those games when Wanny was here?" He truly sucked as a coach. There was no gameplanning and he would not budge on his stance to try to hide our weaknesses. We won based on raw talent. Imagine if we were coached!!!

That is an amazing stat especially after playing the Jets and Panther's Dlines. They both have some serious talent at DE and DT. We are much improved... I just hope they continue to play this well. Maybe even improve more!? =)

I dont think they stink, but statistics can be looked at both ways. Last year our D was ranked in the top against the pass (because we werent great vs. the run). So did that in and of itself mean we had a great pass D?

Not giving up sacks, has as much to do with the type of play calling that Linehan runs (short quicker passes). Vikings were the best at this last year, and now the Dolphins are using it to spread the D and get the ball out quicker. Now we have thrown some deep balls, and the time to complete that pass has been there on occasion but most of the time its the quick pass and YAC that has lead to our passing attack.

Plus Pass Blocking is half the battle. No sacks is good, but a solid rushing offense is our ticket to returning to glory. Currently we are not doing very well opening up the lanes and rushing.

Has the Oline improved its play? Yes.

Are they were we need them to be to really control the line of scrimmage and dominate a game so we dictate what the D is able to do? Not yet.

They dont stink, but they havent even approached the NFL standard set by premier NFL lines yet.
